He did his MBBS from Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery after which he completed his Masters in Ophthalmology from the reputed Guru Nanak Eye Centre(GNEC), Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi. He underwent long-term fellowship in Vitreo Retinal disorders from Giridhar Eye Institute. Special interest areas include medical and surgical retinal disorders, uveitis, and retinopathy of prematurity screening services.
