Dr. Sujith Nayanar

He completed his DNB in Ophthalmology and Foreign Ophthalmology board examination (FRCSandFICO) in2008. He did his Cornea and Refractive Surgery specialty fellowship at Helsinki University Hospital. He also underwent a short term Cornea and Ocular Surface specialty training at Bascom Palmer Eye institute – Miami, USA and also under Dr.Scheffer Tseng – Miami, USA in 2018. His special area of interest in infective keratitis, advanced lamellar corneal transplant surgeries, keratoconus and its management.

Ocular surface diseases and laser & lens based refractive surgery. He was associated with many major Hospitals in Kerala. He is currently serving as Secretary, Kozhikode Ophthalmic society since 2019. He is a founder member of Cornea interest group in Kerala. He has 10 peer reviewed indexed journal publications (National & International). He has presented several papers and posters in various National & International Ophthalmology conferences.

He is regularly involving in conducting instruction courses in Kerala Society of Ophthalmic surgeon’s annual conference in Kerala since 2009. He contributed as Author in many chapters – in PG level text books in Ophthalmology.
