Dr. Mohammed Shahbaaz

He did his MBBS from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and MS (Ophthalmology) from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College under AMU, Aligarh, where he completed his Senior Residency as well. He did his Fellowship in Advanced Cataract Surgery, Phacoemulsification and SICS at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.

Apart from this, he underwent short term fellowship from ICO Dr. Burhan (Egypt), long term cornea fellowship under Dr. Mekhla, Mumbai. Prior to joining Trinity, he had worked with various Eye Care Hospitals at different parts of India as Senior Consultant (Cornea Refractive & Cataract Surgery) besides having worked as Observer in Lasik and Phacoemulsification with an Eye Hospital in New Delhi. He possesses vast experience in surgical and clinical ophthalmology, particularly in the areas of cataract, refractive surgery (Lasik, EPI Lasik, Zyoptic, Zyoptic Ultimate, ICL and PTK), Cornea, Oculoplasty, Glaucoma, Medical Retina etc. He has been a faculty/guest lecturer for DNB and other Ophthalmology courses. He guided many scholars for their thesis work. He presented many thematic papers at national and international conferences and workshops of ophthalmology.
