The story of Trinity begins in 1999 when three visionary veteran doctors used to run Trinity Medical Centre. These great minds now sit on the board of Trinity - Dr. A K Sreedharan, MS, FICS (USA), FRSH(LONDON) as Chairman, Dr. Sunil Sreedhar(Ortho) MCH Ortho (UK) as Managing Director and Dr. Mridula Sunil MBBS,DNB(Ophth),FRCS (Edin),FRCS(Glasg),Fellow Laser(LVPEI) FICO as Chief Medical Director . In 2009 Trinity Medical Centre was converted to Trinity Eye Hospital with a single speciality.

The brand Trinity, today has expanded to six speciality eye care centres in Palakkad, Malappuram and Calicut.

Trinity Eye Hospital also prides in –house counseling services – a unique initiative that provides value assistance and advice for patients and their families. The state-of –the-art laboratory and modern pharmacy provides in house service for patients.Trinity is running the Optical shop named I-SHOP with its own branded frames and has an attached optical laboratory which stocks and fits standard lenses within an hour. Every spectacle order delivered from Trinity Eye Hospital Opticals are effectively verified and checked by in house optometrist for maximum accuracy comparing with the prescription generated by the Ophthalmologist.
